Beryl Quinton "Born to a musical and God-centered family, with radio/TV performances as a child, Beryl's experience ranges from a "doo-wop" group in high school to her own rock band, raising five children, and singing in the "Papal Choir" during Pope John Paul's visit to New Orleans in 1987. She met her husband Juan almost 25 years ago, while they were both members of the "Contemporaries," a group at St. Dominic Church (New Orleans) in which they still participate. Beryl and Juan's home in New Orleans was recently destroyed by flooding in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and they are now residing in Baton Rouge, LA. From this group ministry, Beryl also launched her own personal music ministry several years ago, and now regularly plays weddings, funerals, baptisms, and masses. Beryl's music has been recognized in nationwide U. S. competition sponsored by the United Catholic Music and Video Association (UCMVA), reaching finalist status in both 2002 and 2005 Awards. Her music has also been accepted by the Catholic cable network EWTN, to be featured in their programming." |

Amazing Graces
The journey of souls on earth from the cradle to the grave, "Amazing Graces" follows a Christian lifetime in song, features the work of fourteen musicians and members of a children's choir, and includes the songs of six "new" composers. . As church bells resound, God blesses us with His wonderful graces in one intimate encounter after another, beginning with our Baptism. Our journey continues through childhood, adolescence, college, military service, marriage or holy life, and careers. From New Orleans "funk" to a patriotic "second-line," from a glimpse of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane to a "Marriage Medley," from a singular harp accompaniment to featured "back-up singers" ranging in age from 8-13, this collection is a really unusual assortment of Christian music. |

Like the Seagull "Like The Seagull" sets to music scriptural messages which teach us to place all of our cares on the shoulders of Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd; to trust our Blessed Mother Mary to intervene on our behalf with her Beloved Son; and to anticipate our ultimate goal of sharing Heaven with all whom we love and have loved. Add to that our Lord's assurance that, if we trust in Him as do the birds of the air (including seagulls, no doubt), He will care for us - His children. The title song "Like The Seagull," written by David Caruso, Jr., Beryl's brother, links together a unique collection of seventeen most-requested, beloved traditional hymns. . It may interest you to know that the hymn "I Am The Resurrection" was written by Ray Repp, the man known as the "Father of the Contemporary Guitar Mass;" and that Track 5 is Beryl's original arrangement of "Amazing Grace," combining into a unique duet the melodies of "As The Deer Longs" and the traditional "Amazing Grace." |
