“Their songs are a collage of life lessons and reflections on relationships. Velvet Chains is Spike Ivory's latest release featuring eleven tracks. "My Maria" is the first song and single. It is an up- tempo rocker that is catchy and packs a punch. Velvet Chains has robust pace, galloping guitars and is sung with gusto. "Rollin' Thunder" starts off with booming guitars before the pace slows to a more reflective tone and then returns to the heavy guitar licks.
